Fast and easy…. Here’s a recipe the kids love, too! It’s like summer on a stick, loaded with Wild Harmony Farm 100% grass-fed kabob beef and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro or basil
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 2 pounds of Wild Harmony Farm grass-fed Kabob
- meat (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 Green bell pepper (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 Orange bell pepper (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 Red onion (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 large zucchini (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 2 cups of fresh pineapple (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 package of fresh mushrooms (optional)
Directions
In a large bowl, add soy sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, pepper, and kabob meat. Mix until the meat is evenly coated. Place the bowl in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
If you are using wooden skewers, you will need to soak them in water for at least 15 to 20 minutes. This will prevent the skewers from burning.
Before preparing your skewers, you should preheat your outdoor grill.
Using your skewer, add a piece of kabob meat, followed by pieces of peppers, onion, zucchini, pineapple, and mushrooms (if using them), and repeat the process until your skewer is full. Repeat with the remaining skewers.
Place your fully loaded skewers on a lightly oiled grill, cover, and cook for about 7 minutes for medium rare. Turn the kabobs occasionally. Of course, the exact grilling time will depend upon the type of grill, the size, and the heat level. Cook until done to your taste.
