Wild Harmony Farm Ancestral Blend Burgers

    Ingredients

      • 1 lb. Wild Harmony Farm Ancestral Blend
      • Onion Powder
      •  Salt
      •  Pepper
      • Garlic Powder

    Both Garlic and Onion powder can be substituted with sauteed garlic and  onion

    Directions

    Preheat the broiler to low and adjust the oven rack to the second level below your broiler.

    In a bowl combine 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of freshly ground pepper, garlic, and onion powder. You can also use fresh sauteed onions and garlic in place of the powders. Mix up seasonings.

    Open a one-pound package of Wild Harmony Farm Ancestral Blend and add it to the seasoning mixture. Once mixed, make one large ball, flatten it, and section it into quarters. This will make four burgers.

    When your burgers are ready to go, place the burgers on a broiler pan and place them under the broiler. Cook for five minutes on one side and flip each burger for an additional five minutes. Cook until they reach the desired internal temperature. See the temperature chart below. 

    Allow the burgers to rest for three minutes before adding any other toppings, excluding cheeses since many of us like it melted onto our burgers while cooking. Get creative with your toppings. You may like:

      • Avocado
      • Lettuce & Tomato
      • Wild Harmony Farm Bacon
      • Alfalfa or bean sprouts
      • Raw onion
      • Raw Spinach

    Cooking temperatures

      • Rare 120° to 125° F - cool center, red throughout
      • Medium rare 130° to 135° F - warm center, red throughout
      • Medium 140° to 145° F - warm center, pink throughout
      • Medium well 150° to 155°F - Hot center, slightly pink
      • Well done 160° to 165°F - No red, no pink but it's warm
