Beef & Pork Smash Burgers w/ Special Sauce

Serves 8




2 lb ground beef @wildharmonyfarm

1 lb ground pork @wildharmonyfarm

30 grinds black pepper

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

*Olive oil spray


Special Sauce:

2/3 cup mayo

1 TBS ketchup

1 TBS mustard

1 TBS pickle juice, relish or chopped pickles

Sprinkle of salt and pepper


Hamburger buns

Cheddar cheese slices (or your favorite kind of cheese)


Any toppings you enjoy on your smash burgers


Add all burger ingredients to a large bowl and mix with hands until well combined. Spray 2 large cast iron skillets with olive oil spray and heat burners to medium heat. Roll meat into 8 equal balls. Push balls of meat between hands to flatten. Add smash burgers to skillets and cook until browned on both sides and cooked to liking.

Meanwhile add special sauce ingredients to a bowl and mix well.

Add cheese to burgers once burgers are done and let melt.

Add smash burger to bun with special sauce and favorite toppings.
