Penne with Sausage and Rabe

Serves 6-8


  • 1 lb sweet italian sausage
  • 1 large bunch rabe, washed and chopped
  • 1 head garlic, chopped
  • 1.5 lbs penne
  • 1 TBS olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Red pepper flakes



Cook pasta according to directions-drain and reserve. Meanwhile add garlic and sausage to hot pan with olive oil. Cook until sausage is cooked through, stirring occasionally. Add rabe to sausage and cook for a few minutes until tender. Mix pasta and sausage mixture together~s alt and pepper to taste. Top with good parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if desired.
