Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: Up to 8 hours - depending on the size of your chuck roast and temperature you are cooking at. For this recipe it is best to keep your crock pot on low and allow the meat and vegetables to cook slowly. Allowing the flavors to meld together.
Ingredients:
- Wild Harmony Farm Chuck Roast
- 6 to 8 Petite white or red potatoes
- 1 bag of baby carrots
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Beef broth, 2.5 cups
- Salt, 1 tsp
- Pepper, 1 tsp
- fresh thyme, 2 spigs
- Teriyaki Sauce or soy sauce, 1 cup
Directions:
Combine one bag of baby carrots, chopped onion, and petite potatoes in the crock pot. Next, place the Wild Harmony Farm chuck roast on top of the vegetables.
Pour the beef broth and teriyaki sauce over top of the meat.
Add a drizzle of salt, a sprinkle of pepper, minced garlic, and fresh thyme leaves (make sure to remove the stalk).
Cover and cook on low heat for nearly 8 hours or until the meat begins to fall apart easily and is fork tender. At this point, the veggies should be soft. If the meat does not pull apart easily that means it is not done yet!
You will know when it is done because the meat will break apart into chunks.
Place the roast and the vegetables on a serving dish and enjoy this comforting recipe!
